Is happily married to Linda Curry and together they are the proud parents of five children and two grandchildren.  Norris Curry entered the ministry in 1993He is an Ordained Elder in the Chrisitian Methodist Episcopal Church.  He has served as a pastor in both Central and East Texas Annual Conferences for a total of seven years. Current ministerial assignments include chairmanship for the Joint Board of Finance, East Texas Annual Conference for the Eighth Episcopal District and staff position as Director of Empowering Ministries for Christian Chapel C.M.E Temple of Faith Church located in Dallas, Texas under the direction of Pastor Rev. Dr. Jerome McNeil Jr. In his current role as Director of Empowering Ministries, his primary ministry focus is leadership training with emphases on holistic lifestyle strategies that promote spiritually healthy faith communities. He has a strong passion for developing church leaders to be team leaders. According to Ephesians 4:1-16, Norris provides the design and architecture of systems and processes to promote the inclusiveness of every congregational member into ministry. Norris is a bi-vocational pastor. He is a sixteen-year veteran of a Minnesota based company serving as a Facilities Project Manager. Through this experience, he has consulted with local church congregations in building and construction design and management. He served as the Co-Designer and Project Manager for the Christian Chapel Temple of Faith. Norris has a Certificate in Theology from the Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, Georgia, and a Bachelor of Science degree in professional communications from Southern Christian University. He has an ongoing training relationship with the Leadership Training Network, which focuses on 21st century church culture.
