As we enter into another year, we should thank God for all that He has allowed us to experience.  We must move to another level in our commitment to the Lord.  As the pressures of life increase, we need to really prioritize our walk with Christ.

Often we strive to develop leaders, but what Christ expects is followers.  The fear of following comes from our basic mistrust of others, as well as the uncertainty of Christ's expectation for our lives,  Many are hestitant to follow Christ fully because of the uneasiness and mystery of the journey.  But to really follow Christ, we must have an urgency in our quest for spiritual intimacy. 

We must want more of God and to be yielded vessels for Him.  As followers, the relationship with Christ confronts the fears and uncertainty with trust.  When we really trust the Lord, all our questions marks fall in line behind Christ, who ends all and has it all in control.

Remember we must make a convenant to follow Christ for all He does on our behalf daily.  Our goal should be altered in our plans to please man, but to do nothing more than to please God.
