Church Leadership
Is happily married to Roy Ingram and together they are
the proud parents of five children and ten grandchildren. Vanessa and Roy are co-laborers
in the ministry of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, (C.M.E.)
Rev. Darden-Ingram has served in the pastoral ministry sense 1990. As an ordained Elder in Full Connection in the C.M.E. Church, she has pastured in the Dallas / Fort Worth Region in multiple capacities. She continues to serve the local and connectional church in the areas of spirituality and administration as directed by Bishop Marshall Gilmore, Presiding Elder W.C. Champion, and Rev. Dr. J.E. McNeil.
As Chief Spiritual Officer, Vanessa’s gifts have enabled, encouraged, and ministered to congregations at Morning Chapel C.M.E. Church located in Van Alstyne, TX and New Bethel C.M.E. Church located in Stephenville, TX. She is currently serving as the Senior Associate Pastor at the Temple Of Faith, Christian Chapel C.M.E. Church, Dallas, TX.
In her current role, Vanessa preaches and teaches the Gospel of Jesus. She also directs the activities associated with Transitional Ministries and assists in the discipling and mentoring of students participating in the School of Ministry. Vanessa’s passion is equipping God’s chosen people with an understanding of their spiritual gifts, spiritual passions, and the discovery of their Divine Design in order to connect them to a ministry that fulfills their role in Kingdom building.
Vanessa is a bi-vocational pastor who is currently employed with a Dallas based company who specializes in equipping its client base in the knowledge of the HIV and AIDS viruses and how they impact our community. Vanessa brings a unique perspective to the “how to” minister with families and victims of this deadly disease.
Vanessa has a Certificate in Theology from the Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta,
Georgia, and an Associate degree in medical administration from El Central Community College and is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts at Texas College. She has an ongoing training relationship with the Leadership Training Network, which focuses on 21st century church culture.
